Management

Hospital Quality Manager: Full-time, days. RN with 7 years clinical experience and Quality Management /QAPI experience required. Responsible for oversight of Quality and Risk Management. Assists with coordination of Regulatory Compliance, Medical Staff Committees and Departments, and Emergency Management functions within the hospital. Maintains proactive monitoring systems to ensure quality & safety and minimize liability. Reports as directed to medical staff committees for standing and ad hoc reporting requirements. Collaborates with Safety Department, Infection Control and Physician Credentialing.

Surgical Services Manager: Full-time, department leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 5-bed operating suite including sterile processing. Minimum of five years surgical services experience is required to include two years of successful leadership experience. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing. CNOR preferred.

Hospital Purchasing/Materials Manager: Manages staff and routine operations of the Materials Management departments at Arise Medical Center and The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center to include to procurement, processing and distribution and inventory processes. Assists department managers in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and storage. Assures compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies and hospital policies.

Registered Nurse /
Clinical Practitioner

Charge Nurse- Surgical Services: Full-time, days with call. 4+ years’ of surgical experience in a hospital or surgery center required to include one year supervisory experience. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required. AORN preferred.

Critical Care: Full-time, nights and PRN. Recent critical care experience and BLS/ACLS required. CCRN preferred. Must be competent in the care of all critical care patients willing to fill the charge nurse role.

Surgery: Full-time, days and PRN with call. 2 years of circulating experience in orthopedics, spine and ENT procedures preferred.

PACU:  PRN with call.   2 years’ experience in PACU or ICU required.  Must be competent in care of pre-op and post-op orthopedics, ENT and spine patients.  Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required.

Emergency: PRN, nights. 2 years’ emergency department or critical care experience required. BCLS, ACLS and PALS required. TNCC or ENPC preferred.

Endoscopy RN: Full-time, days. 2 years’ nursing experience required. Endoscopy or outpatient surgery center experience preferred. BLS and ACLS required.

Allied Health

Multi-Modality MRI/CT/Rad Tech:  PRN with rotating call.  ARRT, MRT with 3 years’ experience in an acute care setting required.  Proficient in all aspects of MRI, CT and diagnostic radiology required.  Must have ability to work with little or no supervision.

Physical Therapist: PRN, weekend days.  Inpatient therapy/acute care ortho experience preferred. Texas license and BLS required.

Surgical Technologist: Full-time, days and PRN with rotating call.    Certification with 2 years’ experience with emphasis on orthopedics/spine, ENT, and plastics required. BLS required.

Social Worker:  PRN, with call.  2-3 years’ acute care experience in a hospital setting required. Knowledge of discharge planning, insurance authorizations, psychiatric assessment and referrals, social services planning and referrals to appropriate agencies and facilities required. LMSW preferred.

Support

Operating Room Materials Coordinator: Full-time, days. 3 years’ previous Operating Room Materials or healthcare supply experience required with expert knowledge of quality control and OR supplies. Prefer Surgical Technologist experience. Directs quarterly inventories for all departments, creates purchase orders and stocks incoming supplies. Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

HIM Specialist: Full-time, days. High school graduate or equivalent. Some college preferred. One year experience in a clinical or hospital medical records department required. RHIT or RHIA preferred. Strong process management skills with experience in auditing charts a plus. Must be able to communicate appropriately with the public and with all levels of hospital staff.

Registrar: Full-time, 5:15am-1:45pm. 2 years emergency room registration or hospital admitting experience required. Knowledge of insurance payers and benefits/eligibility verification, charge entry, and medical record assembly required. Ability to prioritize work with excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure.

Patient Services Representative:  Full-time, days position with Austin Neurosurgeons. 2 years’ physician office front desk and registration experience required. Knowledge of referrals, insurance payer coverage, benefit/eligibility verification, and pre-certification/authorization requirements. Familiar with obtaining medical records and imaging orders. Ability to effectively screen calls for triage and escalate call when necessary.

Physician Office Medical Assistant:  Full-time, days. 3 years’ experience as a patient care provider in a physician clinic setting required. Certification or registration required. Athena EMR experience a plus.

Maintenance Mechanic II:  Full-time with rotating call coverage.  Graduate of a high school or technical school required.  Two years’ facility maintenance and building repair experience required.  HVAC, plumbing and electrical experience preferred.  Must have the ability to multitask and adopt to change.  Excellent communication, customer service required.

Nutrition Department Supervisor: Full-time, supervisor position responsible for supervising the day to day operations of our Nutrition Services department, ordering and inventory, and supervising kitchen staff. High school degree and 3 years of food service experience required. Food Manager Certificate and Culinary Certificate preferred.

Cook: Full-time, rotating day/evening shift. High school degree or equivalent. 2 years’ line cooking experience required with strong culinary background. Must have an understanding of HCCP rules and requirements. Hospital/healthcare experience a plus. Food handlers license required.

Nutrition Services Attendant: Full-time, rotating shifts.  High school degree or equivalent required. 1 year healthcare or restaurant food service experience and food handler’s certificate is required.  Attendant is responsible for obtaining food selections, delivering patient meals and assisting with food preparation.
