Now Hiring for the Following Positions:

Management

Hospital Purchasing/Materials Manager: Manages staff and routine operations of the Materials Management department to include the procurement, processing and distribution and inventory processes. Assists department managers in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and storage.  Assures compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies and hospital policies.

Hospital Quality Manager: Full time, days. RN with 7 years clinical experience and Quality Management / QAPI experience required. Primary duties include quality and medical staff peer review, core measures data abstraction, and performance indicator trending.

 

Registered Nurse

Critical Care: Full-time and PRN, days and nights. 2-5 years ICU experience and ACLS required, CCRN preferred. Must be competent in the care of pulmonary, diabetic, heart cath and critical care patients.

Surgery: Full-time, part-time and PRN days with call. 2 years of circulating experience in orthopedics, spine and ENT procedures preferred.

Pre-Op/PACU: Full-time, days and PRN with call. 2 years experience in PACU or ICU required. Must be competent in care of pre-op and post-op orthopedics, ENT and spine patients. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required.

Medical Surgical/Telemetry: Full-time, days and nights. 2 years acute care telemetry or critical care experience required.

Medical Detox Unit: Full-time, all shifts. One year experience with a substance abuse population and/or detox unit. Current Texas RN license and current BLS required.

LVN- Medical Detox Unit: Full-time, all shifts. One year experience with a substance abuse population and/or detox unit. Current Texas LVN license (or higher or equivalent license) and current BLS required.

 

Allied Health

Physical Therapist: PRN, weekend days.  Inpatient therapy/acute care ortho experience preferred. Texas license and BLS required.

CT/Rad Tech: Full-time and PRN, days and weekends. ARRT, MRT with 3 years experience in an acute care setting required. Proficient in CT and diagnostic imaging procedures. Able to perform with little or no supervision.

Ultrasound Technologist: PRN, with call. RDMS to include RVT/RVS with 3 years experience in an acute care setting performing routine and emergent diagnostic general and vascular ultrasounds required. Current BLS required.

Echovascular Tech: PRN, with call. RVT/RVS with 3 years experience in an acute care setting. Proficient in all aspects of echocardiography and vascular ultrasound required. BLS required.

MLT or MT: Full-time, nights and PRN. Generalist with 3 years experience in an acute care laboratory required. MT/MLT required. ASCP certified or equivalent.

Social Worker: PRN, with call. 2-3 years acute care experience in a hospital setting required. Knowledge of discharge planning, psychiatric assessment and referrals, assessment of patient and family needs, social services planning and referrals to appropriate agencies and facilities required. LMSW preferred.

Support

Materials Management Tech: Full-time, days.  High school degree or equivalent. 2 years’ experience in a materials management setting with knowledge of medical supplies and shipping and receiving required.  Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word required.  Healthcare experience preferred.  Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Purchasing Coordinator: Full-time, days. High school degree or equivalent. 3 years’ experience in a hospital materials management setting required. Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word required. Healthcare inventory management and periodic cycle counts experience preferred. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Insurance Collector: Full-time, days. 3 years experience in hospital and/or medical collections required. Extensive knowledge of insurance carrier claims, payment policies, and timely filing and appeal deadlines required. Patient collections experience a must. Must have excellent customer service skills.

Sterile Processing Technician:  Full time, days with rotating call.    1 year experience working in central sterile environment with knowledge of instrumentation, surgical supplies and sterile operations required.  Scrub tech experience preferred.

Patient Care Tech-Medical Detox: Full-time, all shifts. One year experience with a substance abuse population and/or detox unit preferred. Ability to have recovery orientated on-on-ones with clients, ability to conduct “check ins” and education groups. CNA preferred. BLS required.

Patient Care Tech-Med/Surg: Full-time, days and PRN. 2 years’ experience as a patient care provider in an acute care setting required. Excellent computer skills required. CNA/MA or EMT and BLS required.

Registrar: Full-time, evenings. One year patient admitting/registration experience required. Knowledge of insurance payers and benefits/eligibility verification, Ability to prioritize work with excellent communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure.

Nutrition Department Supervisor: Full-time, supervisor position responsible for supervising the day to day operations of our Nutrition Services department, ordering and inventory, and supervising kitchen staff. High school degree and 3 years of food service experience required. Food Manager Certificate and Culinary Certificate preferred.

Cook: Full-time, days. High school degree or equivalent. 2 years scratch cooking experience required with strong culinary background. Must have an understanding of HCCP rules and requirements. Hospital/healthcare experience a plus.

Nutrition Services Attendant: Full-time, days.  High school degree or equivalent required. 1 year healthcare or restaurant food service experience required.  Attendant is responsible for utilizing a wireless network to obtain food selections, delivering patient meals and assisting with food preparation.  Food handlers certificate is required.
