Since 1954, Austin Radiological Association (ARA) has been dedicated to providing quality medical imaging services to the people of Austin and surrounding communities. Currently, the company provides routine x-rays, fluoroscopy, mammography, sonography, CT scans, MR imaging, Open MRI scans, nuclear medicine, PET scans, outpatient myelograms and bone densitometry at 15 locations in Austin and surrounding areas. Professional radiologist services are provided at 11 area hospitals. ARA currently has 52 board certified radiologists and the geographic coverage of ARA outpatient offices extends from the Round Rock office north of Austin to the San Marcos office, 35 miles south of Austin.
